Lillie White Band's 1st cd - Live in London 2002
'Escher's Staircase' 45 sec MP3
Inspired
by the wind swept sand dunes in
Jordan and the Bedouin tribes people living there.
'Hi-fry'
40 sec MP3
The
initiation prayer which opens us to the
creative realm, where all music and dreams live.
Inspired by the beautiful Blue Mountains in Australia in 1995.
'Angels' 35 sec MP3
Written
after my first Tibetan Singing bowl workshop with Don
Conreaux and Aiden McIntyre in London, June 2002. The song's lyrics
and the ancient bowls' resonant tones summon the angels to heal through
us.
'Earth Mother' 45 sec
MP3
Written
in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia, in 1998,
jamming with a group of friends; ( faces painted in mud)
who drummed a tribal rhythm on hollowed-out logs. Inspired
by the bulbous, pregnant gum trees along the river bank and
Alexandra McEvoy and Joshua Muller's reiki painting, entitled Earth
Mother.
'Boodja's Ritual' 45 sec
MP3
The
song tells the story of a fictional Shaman spiritual warrior,
called Boodja, performing her final ritual before accepting death.
The ritual begins with her lighting a candle and drawing a circle in
the
sand and continues as she calls in the four directions and the four
elements.
