* was introduced to Dixie-land jazz, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald,
Frank Sinatra and
Bing Crosby while she watched her Father restore vintage cars in his back-yard
garage.
* began dancing at age 3 and studied full-time ballet at age 15.
* singing debut at Church Service; Priest declared, "she has
a gift from God."
* won a place studying single-study opera at Adelaide Conservatorium of
Music. (1986-1989)
* at school, she was choir leader and sang for matriculation music performance.
* at Flinders University, South Australia she studied at The Drama Centre
(B.A. with Honors
- First Class Degree) majoring in acting and music theatre. (1989-1992)
* Moved to Sydney to pursue acting career. Studied with Kate Dunbar
(N.S.W. Jazz
Society) and sang at her weekly jazz workshops. Began career singing in
jazz & swing bands. (1993)
* Studied 50's dancing - swing, rock & roll and rockabilly.
Danced in competitions, exams
and at all gigs in Sydney. (1997-1998)

Returned to Adelaide to record demo of original music & continue jazz/swing
career. (1999-2000)
